My fiancé had an old friend he sometimes wanted to go hang out with while I was working (i worked 2nd shift at the time). I never had a problem with him having guy time. It was good for him. HOWEVER, every time he would see this particular friend I knew something bad would happen. At some point he would stop responding and id have to track him down and either the cops were involved or a vehicle would be damaged or wrecked. Finally I said no more. So i can see both sides. It depends on the friends.
